Good morning, Santa Cruz! Wake up and see the drawings. Today’s “Saturday Morning Cartoon” was going to be the premiere of a special project that I’m working on, but I still need to tweak a few things to perfection. Instead, I’d like to share the views that I had the pleasure of experiencing in real life last weekend at a camping trip to Big Sur. Often times drawings are based on photographs, but this time I’ve drawn the photo before it has even developed. I had to take a minimalist approach to this representation because it’s simply too beautiful to explain in ink! Luckily for us, we live in Santa Cruz, a beautiful beach/forest surrounded by other miraculous places that aren’t too far away. Consider this an official challenge to go find where this spot is!
