We would absolutely love for Local Santa Cruz to be Santa Cruz’s largest online art gallery. With daily artist features, special profiles and annual events we absolutely love Santa Cruz’s art community and want to be able to support and add to the art value in Santa Cruz.
Even though we have lofty goals for Local Santa Cruz as an Art Gallery online, we still think that the brick and mortar galleries are important. Real world galleries may even be more important to our community than any impact a website could have on a person. What we do have as a website is the ability to reach people where they are, and encourage them to participate and appreciate the arts. We will continue to work with and support these great institutions. In fact, we would love to see additional galleries, venues and events pop-up throughout Santa Cruz county.
