Here is a neon-red visual representation of a memory abroad from the Summer of 2014, done in fine-point permanent marker.
The chances of me seeing this bathroom again are slim to none. This is part of the reason why I take such an affliction to recording scenes from my life that tend to be in seemingly mundane settings. I know that things change, and that sometimes we end up missing the things that we never would have expected to; so it’s best to take everything in while you can, just in case.

This way of exploring and recording a memory, or experience of a memory like this is really cool.
I have a scene from a forest that a locked into memory. I sometimes wonder how close to reality my memory has stayed, and yet at the same time wonder if it even matters since the memory is still so clear and refreshing for me.
