Bay Area-to-international artist, Seren Moran, shows us her newest series of abstract paintings, Feisty. According to her website, the artist considers her form “like dancing,” using her impulsiveness to her advantage. Her characteristically vibrant work mimics the vibrancy of the area of which the art was inspired by.
Torn – Acrylic on canvas, 18″ x 24″
Feisty pushes abstract boundaries even further (the full series seen here), layering abundant Gumby-reminiscent colors upon multi-colored stripes and over delicious, ice-cream like drips. Moran’s work is the synesthetic’s dream, offering a buffet of pleasing colors which come together like a funky visual symphony.
