Good morning, everyone! This morning I finished my latest illustration for the Somewhere in Santa Cruz series. I call this one “Happy Accidents,” because the ink smeared under my hand as I was drawing. At first I was going to start over, but I kept going, and it kept smearing, resembling watercolor. I’ve been inspired to (pre)color my own paper now, because I think it gives it that little extra something that it was missing. Make it work, Santa Cruz!
