Shadley Stephens is a local artist, born and raised in Santa Cruz. In his own words Shadley tells us that “I have lived in Santa Cruz my entire life. I love it here, and I like to incorporate Santa Cruz into my artwork as much as possible.”, and we think that’s pretty cool!

Mr. Stephens is an unrepentant career criminal and has been regularly (since 2004) arrested and prosecuted for domestic violence, illegal weapons, dealing and using meth, probation violations, etc. These are not crimes of the distant past: his most recent conviction was in June of 2023.
This man’s art needs to be removed from every store that still carries it, and any outstanding proceeds should be donated to a suitable organization serving victims of violent crime.
Murdered his girlfriend in 2021 and got away with it, too. Should be put in prison for life.
