This week I continued my work on this multi-stone piece. I am enjoying continuing to work on this piece! I am just about to get to the part that I find the most fun. As you can see in the photo, I attached two small orange stones. They are called orange kyanite. They are the final pieces to this puzzle- as far as stones are considered.
From now on I will focus my energy on two main components. The first is making sure that everything is very securely attached. This is something that I maintain awareness about the entire time I am working. I also do a pass over the pendant before I consider it done to make sure it is as close to indestructible as I can get it. The next part- the fun part- is embellishing around the stones with wire. Up until this point most of the work I’ve done has been to secure the stones. Now I get to go in and decorate the stones. I am excited to infuse these stones with my creativity!
