Completed: Tiger’s Eye and Pearl Ring

wire wrapped ring tiger's eye pearl

This ring features tiger’s eye and fresh water pearl.

This ring has a lot of personality. Its one of my pieces that I made for myself, just out of the joy of making things.

This is an earlier piece, from almost 3 years ago, its one of the first rings that I ever made. I look back on this project fondly. When I made this ring I really went for it.

I was definitely inspired by the stones and let a shape flow through the wire.

I used a double band on this ring.

One innovation that came out of this ring that I still use today is the double band. I found that using a double band is more comfortable and allows more stability for a larger ring.

I used a freeform style to weave freshwater pearls into the ring.

I used a freeform style to wrap the pearls into the ring. The pearls are positioned to be moving like droplets off of the ring.

I love to bring out the memory of making this ring.

It reminds me to stay creative and have fun with the pieces I make.
