In my opinion Santa Cruz doesn’t have enough art galleries. Thankfully the galleries we do have are quite good, but we have so many great artists in Santa Cruz that you shouldn’t be able to walk through a neighborhood without running into a top notch gallery.

Since our inception, Local Santa Cruz has wanted to become a great resource for online collections that that will grow from their first acquisition, located in the “Golden State” and online, our gallery is passionate about its art and artists, and helping them express their diverse cultural gifts. Illustration and Drawings.

The illustrations and drawings featured are beautiful visualizations and depictions of true art. Featuring illustrations and drawings from artists like Julianna Chavez, these collections are absolute masterpieces.

Jewelry.

One collection shows how versatile individual galleries are with their choices. One jewelry collection ranges from a “Resin Flower Pendant;” which is a pendant that is made of resin art with wire wrapping, to a pair of “Fiery Feather Earrings”; this was made by bringing together wire, feathers, chain, and stones.

Music.

Local Santa Cruz showcases music from various artists with diverse backgrounds. One of the featured artists is Charanpal, who is a Santa Cruz-based singer. Her music emanates from the practice of Kundalini yoga. Etienne David Franc is also a featured musician who applies a unique method to composing his music.
